Winter Cards

Look, Ma! I’m making art again!

This linocut is my attempt at a secular but specific holiday greeting card. “Happy Holidays” seems so non-committal, and the changing of the seasons is as good a thing as any to celebrate.

Ta-Da!

I’ve mailed what I’ve printed so far, but it’s still an experiment and a work in progress, so when I print more (probably next week), they’ll be slightly but noticeably different. It’s been about ten years since I’ve used this process, and I’m still reacquainting myself with all the nuances: how much ink to use, how viscous it should be, much pressure to apply, etc.

If you’d like to get one in the mail, send e-mail to tjperi@gmail.com. Happy Winter!
